Ten Irritations of Middle-age
Nobody asks
you what you're going to do with the rest of your life.
"If I had it to do all over again...", but you don't.
The young patronize you.
The old still don't think you know what you're doing.
They both turn to you for money.
You forget what "free time" is like because you never have
it.
You go on vacation and the best part is getting to sleep
late.
You do things every day you swore you'd never do twenty
years ago.
You're not "over the hill". You're still climbing...and climbing...and
climbing...
You laugh when you read this.
